Fed Up February was created to brighten up one of the coldest and darkest winter months. With our unique combination of music, food and fizz, Fed Up February was a cosy night out, that was (thankfully!) all indoors!
Food was prepared by Lajina Masala who put together a 5-course menu featuring some of Britain’s most popular curry dishes as well as some of Lajina’s own favourites. Lajina is well known for her passion for authentic Indian cookery and has provided cookery classes for hundreds of people across the West Midlands. Lajina has also cooked with some of the UK’s best chefs and in front of thousands of people at Grand Designs Live at the NEC each year. Lajina believes that anyone can cook authentic, healthy Indian food; a passion which lies behind every dish she creates.
Music was provided by renowned Birmingham musician Khalid Anjum on sitar who was accompanied on the tablar, creating a live music experience with an atmosphere reminiscent of a cosy, pop-up Indian supper club.
Fizz was plentiful as guests took advantage of the BYO policy to bring their favourite tipple to accompany each course!
With communal style seating, and an endless array of Indian dishes to chose from, guests enjoyed a new dining experience on a very cold February night.
Forget fine dining – this was fun dining with great food, great music, friends, drinks and good times!
