“What an absolutely stunning night - exceeded all expectations!”

Almost 2000 people braved the afternoon showers to enjoy a sparkling afternoon and evening of music, food and fizz.

With six hours of live music, children’s activities, a multitude of delicious street food stalls and bars selling everything from cocktails to craft ales, it was a very special event set within the beautiful surroundings of Chetwynd Deer Park.

Audience members aged from 18 months to 80 years+ enjoyed the unique combination of music, food and fizz that Fizz Festivals events are renowned for.

This year’s performers included Olivia Shipley who wowed the audience with a beautiful vocal and varied set list which included her own material as well as covers of everything from Elvis to Dolly Parton. Choral performances were provided by Newport Male Voice Choir and Market Drayton’s A Choired Taste. The incredible String Infusion got the crowds dancing to covers of the Verve and Oasis as well as some of the most beautiful classical music. Vocalists Jack Foley and Mary-Jess entertained the crowds as the sun set and the evening lighting created a magical glow across the parkland. The Lymm Concert Band provided a rousing finale to the event joined by choirs and vocalists leading the audience through all the Last Night of the Proms favourites, which much flag waving and cheering!

Sumptuous picnics were set out, a huge array of street food was cooked up, bars served cocktails, G&Ts craft ales and of course Prosecco whilst the children were entertained with workshops and activities.

Here’s just some of the feedback from the event:
