Enjoy some of the most popular classical music in a stunning outdoor setting amongst the serene lake and ancient trees of Chetwynd Deer Park

Bring the children, parents and grandparents for a relaxed afternoon and evening filled with beautiful music reminiscent of a night at the Proms. A festival of music, food and fizz , featuring local acts and some of the best talent across the country, culminating with a Last Night of the Proms style finale.

Lay out a picnic blanket, or set the scene with table, chairs, candelabra and union jack bunting. Settle in for an afternoon of inspiring music, fabulous food and fizz, all in stunning parkland which becomes magical at nightfall.

Bring your own picnic hamper and drinks or buy delicious hot food from our local suppliers and street food vendors. With a prosecco bar, craft beer bar, cocktail bar, gin bar and gourmet coffee stalls there is something for everyone.

Children under 13 come free and we have activities lined up to keep them entertained, as well as plenty of space for them to stretch their legs in!

This year's performers include the fabulous tenor, Jack Foley, returning to Proms & Prosecco in the Park by popular demand. Also performing is the stunning string quartet, String Infusion. This all-female quartet play electric and acoustic strings and are just as at home performing an Oasis chart hit as the classical favourites! You may have even spotted them performing on the X Factor or at the O2!

Headlining this year's event is the incredible Mary-Jess, British winner of the Chinese 'X-Factor'. Since winning that competition in front of a TV audience of 80 million people, Mary-Jess has recorded tracks for the Downton Abbey album, performed at the FA Cup, sung for royalty, and on numerous TV programmes. Mary-Jess will be rounding off her performance at Proms & Prosecco in the Park by leading the crowd in all the Last Night of the Proms favourites.

Showcasing some of our local talent we will have Market Drayton's A Choired Taste, the renowned Newport Male Voice Choir and the multi-talented singer-songwriter, Olivia-Mai.

The fabulous Lymm Concert Band will be adding a big sound to the proceedings with a mix of classical and pop favourites. Together with soprano, Mary-Jess, they will lead the audience in a Last Night of the Proms style finale including Pomp and Circumstance, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon and evening to enjoy some of the most popular music in a stunning setting.

Feedback from Proms & Prosecco in the Park 2017

"Just wanted to congratulate you and thank you for such a great evening at Chetwynd Deer Park on Saturday. A good time was had by all!"

"We look forward to next year, but will try harder with our picnic, compared with others ours was very lack lustre! "

"It was a great event, lovely atmosphere, great mix of vendors and thoroughly enjoyed. "

"Loved it, loved it, loved it! Thank you!"

"It was brilliant, lots of young children with families, all ages sharing the experience. In a spectacular setting surrounded by ancient woodlands and lake. A swathe of red white and blue flags, folding tables and chairs, food, candelabras, lanterns and fairy lights, some people wearing bow ties and suits or flowing dresses most like us in wellies and ponchos. An arena of happy smiling faces, the finale a joyous crescendo. Well done Fizz!
