If you’re anything like us, then no doubt you’ve been watching the weather forecast closely this week!
Forecasters seem sure that they are not quite sure what will be happening with our weather on Saturday! So, as usual the British weather is predictably unpredictable. But, in the Great British spirit, we will carry on regardless and not let a drop of rain get in our way!
If it does rain you are welcome to bring wellies, umbrellas, anoraks and good old-fashioned waterproofs. However we are not able to permit gazebos, tents or temporary structures of any kind at the event due to insurance restrictions.
Here are a few tips to help you enjoy the event, if we do have wet weather:
- A plastic ground sheet underneath your chairs and table can help to keep your feet warm and dry
- A blanket or two can be useful for when the sun goes down
- A windbreak behind your chairs can keep off a wind chill, but please ensure that it doesn’t obstruct the view of people behind you.
- The best idea we saw last year was an umbrella which was taped to the side of the chair meaning somebody could sit under it and stay perfectly dry. Ingenious!
We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, whether the weather be wet or whether the weather be dry!
